When my SMS plugin first launched on the WarriorForum last August, it was supposed to be a quick project to help pay the bills while working on what I thought was my main longterm vision. Even though I had been developing SMS platforms and scripts for several years, I was a little taken back by the overwhelming positive response.
Since then, life has had its twists and turns and, believe me, I've learned some hard lessons along the way, but it in the end, it gives me a great sense of pride knowing that I am contributing in some way to other people's success. That being said, it has also been a humbling experience knowing that I created something that many people are depending on to help support their reputation and livelihood.
That being said, I'd like to apologize for causing anyone to wonder if I'd be around to continue supporting my SMS plugin. Many have rightly hesitated to place the full weight of their business and trust on something that had a questionable support foundation and vision for the future. I want you to know that I am fully committed to creating the best SMS marketing solutions available today and tomorrow…
Moving forward, I am committed to playing a more active role in communicating support issues as well as news and information regarding the plugin and SMS marketing in general. To facilitate this, I'm taking steps to develop a better support system which will include the addition of a Skype group and a more responsive support ticketing system. I have also secured the support of several very knowledgeable SMS professionals to help contribute on a regular basis.
